Sometimes saving money can be all most impossible! In this day in age when credit card debt, car loans, large morgages, high gas rates, and insurance payments, has limited our ability to put the cash away like we use to be debt has took over our lives..The pinch is felt through out the United States….
He are some tips to help:
1. Sit back and examine where every penny of your money goes each week, subtract all the nesseseary bills. Dig deeper take each bill and analize it. For example your electric bill notice your charges, do you feel that it is normally high? Again lets get a little deeper….take out a piece of paper figure out what you do each day when you are home, are there more than one television in your house? Are the lights left on constantly, even if it is daylight out? Are you using the dryer often and even in the summer months? Do you have other high juiced electronics, or extra unneccesities? Try to cut the time in which you use each appliance. Take atleast one tv out of the house, encourage your kids, if you have any to spend less time on the video game system, to spend more time outdoors, you yourself can do this also, atleast once or twice a week instead of watching the soap, shut the tv off and go outside nestle next to a tree and read a book, thus cutting the use of electricity that is used each day, a few hours here and a few hours their can save you something on your next bill. Do this with your heat bill as well, lower your thermastat a few degrees lower on average you should see the difference, grab a blanket if you get a chill…Take the extra cash and put it into the bank….
2. Now let see what you have left after the bill money is spent……examine your habits….do you have bad money draining habits such as smoking, chewing tobacco, drinking a lot of soda, and of course the fast food frenzie…….Let’s get deeper…This is where the most money can be salvaged….Habits are hard to break, but if is your intent to fatten your bank account than this is where you must dig deep and battle each of your habbits…Quit smoking and it will not only save your life, but could possible save you as much as $10 a day which equals to $70 a week and so on you get the hint……You will instantly see the reward from quitting such a habit, the same with chewing tobacco……The fast food frenzie can easily be beeten by simply packing a lunch for work, or taking a brief moment out of your fast paced life and cooking up something quick…….Look at how much you spend weekly eating out a week….If you smoke and have a fast food fetish AND battle these habits to eventually quiting, look at all the exta money you would have to pay of that debt you have aquired and fatten your bank account!
3. Self-control must be abtained…NO more impulse buying….Be patient!
4.Don’t touch the account if at all possible until you have achieve what would be atleast two months of your current salary….this gives you a little security incase of jobloss or sickness occurs…..fill it up a little more then with out touching the two months salary, give yourself a little tip, you deserve it……Then the hard part begins…..start paying off that debt!
